01. Why it exists
Every 6–8 weeks the wefts have to come down and go back up. That appointment is where traditional tape costs you time, costs the client comfort, and costs the hair. Vanity was designed by stylists around that one appointment.

04 · The method
No heat gun, no soaking, no second wash. This is the whole procedure.
Part the hair and isolate the weft you are taking down, exactly as you would for any tape-in move-up.
A light mist of the clean-release remover on each side of the tab. One pass. You are not soaking the bond.
Guide the end of a rattail comb between the two tabs. The bond gives without pulling on the natural hair.
The weft lifts away clean. No scraping, no residue, no clarifying wash, press in a fresh tab and the client is done.

It was designed by stylists to eliminate the biggest frustration with traditional tape extensions, sticky, gummy residue during removal. Removal is a clean, one-step process: no re-washing, no multiple sprays, and gentler on the hair than scraping or peeling.
Any extension method can cause damage if it's done incorrectly. This system is designed to protect the integrity of the natural hair: a secure hold while worn, then a clean release so you aren't scraping or peeling adhesive off the strand.
Yes for the tabs, no for the remover. Our tabs fit the standard 4cm by 0.8cm weft base that most tape-in brands build to (we have tested them on Bellami, Hairtalk and Babe wefts), so you can strip another brand's tape and re-tab their hair with ours. The remover is a different answer: it was developed against our own adhesive over roughly ten years and underperforms on other brands' bonds. Use their remover on their tape, then our tabs.
With proper installation and aftercare, tape-ins typically last 6–8 weeks before they need to be moved up. That window is about grow-out and hair health, not about the adhesive failing.
